When Sharon McIntyre opened her doors on November 1st, 2019, her goal was and continues to be to provide the best products to Islanders that they can’t find anywhere else. Bloom House Plants and Pretty Things sell a variety of lush plants and products from local makers, such as soaps, pottery, food and home decor.
Support from fellow Islanders means the world to Sharon; it motivates her to keep going and make her business the best it can be. Sharon also believes in supporting her fellow local businesses, “When we work together to lift each other up, we all win.”
What Sharon loves most about being a small business owner is creating the magical little shop that she has always dreamt of and, of course, being able to take her two dogs with her to work!
