Mark is a 3rd generation business owner of Illsley’s Feed & Farm Supply, a family-run agriculture business located in Summerside.
Named after their family, Illsley’s Feed & Farm Supply opened in 1979, after Mark’s grandparents and parents moved from Truro, Nova Scotia to Summerside when a Ralston Purina Dealership opportunity arose.
After graduating from Holland College, Mark began to work full-time at Illsley’s Feed & Farm Supply, and in 2018 he took over the family business. He feels honoured to be able to work towards celebrating 50 years in business and hopes to one day have a 4th generation Illsley take over the company.
The best business memories for Mark come from creating relationships with his customers and the loyalty that is earned through providing good service and quality products.
Supporting local means a lot to Mark because it feels great when locals support him. Illsley’s Feed & Farm Supply supports local as much as possible; they source their office supplies and electronics from Summerside.
